Privacy Collection Statement
DRAFT: this document has been prepared as a working draft and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It must not be published or relied on until that review is complete.

Who is collecting your information
[Legal entity name TBC] (ABN TBC), trading as Notice People, of Sydney, New South Wales. You can contact us at hello@noticesports.com.au about anything in this statement.
What we collect when you enquire
If you use a contact or enquiry form on this website, we collect your name, your email address, and anything else you choose to type, typically your phone number, your organisation and your message. Those details are emailed to us and are not published anywhere.
What we collect when you register as a candidate
Candidate registration is handled through JobAdder, the recruitment system we use, and your information is held there rather than on this website. Through it we collect your name, contact details, work history, the roles and locations you are interested in, and any CV, cover letter or other document you choose to attach. This website receives none of that and stores no files at all.
Why we collect it
To respond to you; to assess whether we can help you or your organisation; to match candidates to roles we are recruiting for; to introduce candidates to prospective employers with their consent; and to keep proper records of our work. We use it for nothing else, we do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
If you do not provide it
You do not have to give us any of this information. If you do not give us your contact details we cannot reply to you, and if you do not give us enough about your experience we cannot sensibly put you forward for a role.
Who we disclose it to
Prospective employers, but only with your consent, for a specific role, each time. JobAdder, which holds candidate records for us in Australia. Our email and hosting providers, which carry the message and run the site. Anyone else you ask us to, or where the law requires it.
Overseas
Candidate records and this website are hosted in Australia. Some supporting services, such as email delivery and analytics, may process limited information overseas including in the United States. See our Privacy Policy for detail.
Sensitive information
We do not ask for sensitive information, including health information, criminal record or membership of any group, as part of registration. If a client requires a check of that kind for a particular role, we will ask for your consent separately and explain why at the time.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your record, by emailing hello@noticesports.com.au. You can complain to us, and then to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au, if you think we have mishandled your information.
The newsletter is separate
Subscribing to Notice, our weekly newsletter, is a separate act handled by Substack under its own terms. Registering as a candidate does not subscribe you, and subscribing does not register you.
